And one good thing going for second hand clothes is about the price. Extremely cheap and so there is no question to worry about the money. Just go to the shop with few hundred bucks and they will fetch you great amount of clothes.

I think there is not much difference in the rates of second handed clothes and first handed ones , as the textile industry is not so costly industry , you can get the clothes for chepaer rates too, so , i suggest you to go for branded clothes
thank you

boutique shops here are offering membership card which you can avail for free for discounted prices of bulk orders, the problem still is you need to order minimum quantity of items, for the discounted prices to be honored.

Yes, nowadays, as most of the young Indians have more money than before, they are going for the brand rather than the price. They get satisfaction in flashing branded cloths, wathches, mobiles, cars and so on. They don't go for the cheap, non-branded products and I think this trends is dangerous for the generations to come.

Well some times it is true and some times it is not according to me. It is the mentality of many of our Indian fellow mates that they are much more bothered about the money and saving stuffs rather than going for branded items and loosing lot of money on them you know. Moreover, it is not at all a good practice that they are going to spend too much money on brands all the time. So according to many Indians, some of them are ready to spend money liberally on the brands while many of them wish to spend lot of money easily for other stuffs and save money.

A few days back, a satistics was published in newspaper that the per-capita income of Indian people is around Rs. 3500, though most of the people are living in the rural area and around 25% of them are living below poverty line. In spite of all these facts, the per-capita income is not so bad which states that todays young generation of urban areas holding so much of money and this money come to their hands, sometimes with a little effort or with no effort at all. They spend this money on branded cloths and accessories which is obvious from the point of view of themselves.

not necessarily all would consider price than brand quality because due to the various openings in the IT sector and as well as real estate escalation the purchasing power of urban india has grown more than 10 times what was there a decade ago

that is the reason why most of the world's famous and costly brands are regularly opening their flagships in india,i mean if there is no purchasing power why would those multi national brand factories do compete for a place in india

Yes it's true that the purchasing power of Indian people has increased several folds in the past decades. The malls are just like what we have seen in foreign countries and the young generations, which are still in upper schools or colleges are roaming around here and there, eating and buying everything. And for this very reasons many foreign brands are set their foot in this country.

I've been a part of one-to-one survey with the youths regarding their choice of attires. 74 % of all youths agreed to follow the brands while 18 % said that they are afraid of the fashion clothing. Rest of the youths said, if they get money, they would like to go with the brands. Inference came out was, money is leading youths to follow the brands. People are nowadays, not at all, sensitive about the price rather they prefer quality (brands).

Not all Indian people see only price but also quality of brand.

Now a days cost of any item is high and recession also. So you don’t think price is also a matter?
