Default How can I start export business?

The hard part is to find customers overseas or someone in say Europe who will either act as your retailer or at least your agent. Actual shipping is relatively easy.

So the question is do you have a product that will sell in Europe and will it sell for enough to cover your handling and shipping. The idea of putting it on Ebay is good, it will give you an idea if there is interest in what you have to offer. You wont make much in the short term as shipping costs will keep your margins low. Why not ask this question again but include a picture and see what people think of your products. In Europe there is a lot of interest in traditional items. Good luck with your business.

Best is to work for an export company as a low-level employee. You will learn everything while being paid. I do not suggest starting a big, expensive operation without starting out small first.

If you have something to export that will sell, first try selling it on craigslist, ebay or wherever your target audience looks to buy your products. If you business grows, then you can get bigger, but to start all you need to do it start selling. In the US, anyway. Some things have to go through customs. You will find out on your first order.Fidelity Review
