As you all know about VAT tax i am giving here another trick how Government is taking VAT tax from us.As i m from India and in India Gujarat currently according to my knowledge Government has cancelled VAT tax to some percentage or whole from here because many people were opposite of this.So do you think that Government will face this loss of Crores of Money by stopping this VAT?The answer is No.Though they have reduced or canceled this VAT from businessman there is one more place from there are taking VAT.That place is Big Malls.Like Big Bazaar,Reliance Fresh and others.As you know lacs of people now days buys mostly all items from this malls.When at the time of payment in the bill they charge some percent of TAX.That Tax is taken as VAT.Just think how much money they are earning from it.

usually vat here are considered luxury tax laws, including high priced beverages and drinks like expensive coffees and the like, so if you're dealing with like needed products like food, should be exempted from these aside from the regular tax they remit.

Government should firstly see the economy status of the people residing in our country before they impose the VAT tax in every corner. VAT tax should be minimised concerning the economy of the people.

Well, almost all sellers take a VAT tax concerning, even if the government has exempted VAT tak on that product. Well, Consumer awareness is necessary so as to keep an eye on the policies of VAT tax on products.

i just pay them outright, you can't argue with those taxes, usually they're presented on the checkout, no complaints.

Well, I have seen for an example, When I buy a bottle of Liquor, they charge about 5-10 bucks more than the MRP. They say, that the government has imposed taxes on Liquor and thus the prices have gone up. But, why does the MRP still remains the same? It should increase right with an increase in Tax.

Ithink VAT is nt totally cleared from government rule
In daily life we our selves pay a lot of value added tax by one means r the others , but we pay the tax only when we take the recipt of bill from the seller.
so this may profit us and sellers.

usually smokes and liquor needed to be taxed because they are optional luxuries or vices, the problem is government passes it to the consumers not to the merchants, hence merchants of these type of products are encouraged to sell more.

Concerning about the VAT TAX I think the government will never end up without charging from the people. They will certainly charge from us but we should see that they don't charge beyond the limit.
