Arrow Paisapay

Paisapay was supposed to be eBay's Indian version of PayPal which is available on all eBay sites and this means that buyers on any eBay site around the world can use PaisaPay and pay for items which are being sold by Indian sellers with PaisaPay.It was Advertised as a Very convenient for feature for India but oflate the site doesnt open and there are no particular clear details if anybody has been using paisapay

Google the name Paisapay and one would find that the only active site is of paisapay pakistan but not of any other country including india

Anybody here has a idea about Paisa Pay then please educate me here

hey satyakam, ebay does accept many other payment processors apart from paisapay also. i think paisa pay is something that is acceptable only by ebay i have never seen any other site accepting this payment processor by any other sites. Anyways i dont have any experience of using paisa pay also either. Moreover, paypal is also a very good payment processor as compared to any other payment processors. Can you guys share your exepriences about this paisa pay payment processors?

i think paisapay is applicable to ebay india or any other related south east asian countries and i dont think ebay accepts only paisa-pay payment processor also considering this fact that ebay owns universal payment processor 'paypal' then it has no reason to accept or enforce paisapay as its only payment processor, anyway paisapay at present seems to be non existent to other countries except pakistan where it is functional as an alternative of paypal

Paisa Pay is supposed to be eBay's online payment service, where buyers can pay sellers through credit card or bank transfer,it also claims to guarantee Assured purchase, You will get a refund, if you do not receive the product within a stipulated time period

even though Paypal is accepted in india there are almost nil websites which are having the paisapay which as i mentioned is a division of paypal but they dont take paypal transactions into account

I think paisapay in created by ebay and are used by it also. It is not possible for others to use this online payment processor.
I have used paisapay only once in ebay, it is very secure. It doesnot release money to seller until the buyer confirm that he has received the item. In this way both buyer and seller would be secured.

PaisaPay is supposed and announced to be the safest and most secure way of making online payments on eBay. Buyers can use PaisaPay to make free and instant online payments through credit card or online bank transfer but sadly nothing ever reassures this claim

as of now i think paisapay is non existent and available as an alternative to paypal for the users of pakistan only if anybody here knows more and can prove otherwise then please educate me

Does this payment processor is available as an alternative to paypal? I think it is only associated with paypal and normal people who are not registered with ebay are allowed to use it. If this payment processor can be used as a separate one, I don't know anything about it and request you all to let me know about it.

Advantages
  • Eliminates delay and follow-up for payment.
  • Low Cost
Disadvantages
  • Risk of account fraud is high
  • Lower Buyer Protection coverage than online bank transfer using PaisaPay
