Wordpress 2.8 released

This may have happened ages ago but ive just noticed that Wordpress 2.8 has been released.

Not many changes from what i can see.

yeah it is quite exciting for everyone that the latest and greatest version of WordPress, version 2.8 “Baker,” is not only released but is also immediately available for download.
Version 2.8 represents a nice fit and finish release for WordPress with improvements to themes, widgets, taxonomies, and overall speed. Over 790 bugs have been fixed. This release is named in honor of noted trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker.
As you have written that there are no differences though,I would like to add that though the first thing you’ll notice is that visually 2.8 feels a lot like 2.7, just with some minor tweaks here and there, but once you’ll dig in you’ll begin to appreciate the changes.

what are the additional features of wordpress 2.8 ? This news is very new to my ears, looks like i need to update my blogs in wordpress. The update is quite late though.
