i m new here, so i don't know about adsense. can anyone tell me about adsense?

Anyone can apply for adsense provided he/she has a website/blog with good contents. A few years back google approved any legitimate and with good content website/blog within a few days after applying for it, but it is very hard to get permission now. It is now saying that that our website/blog must complete at least 6 months before applying for adsense.
